I’ve been enjoying Opal, and the Quranic verses feature at screen lock is a genuinely beautiful touch
It got me thinking — Arabic is spoken by over 300 million people, and nearly two billion Muslims around the world read the Quran in Arabic, even if it isn’t their first language. Adding Arabic support could make Opal feel like home for a huge part of the world.
One small note, if you ever do add it: for the Quranic verses, please use the original Arabic text directly — not a translation. Even an accurate translation changes the words, and for Muslims, the exact wording of the Quran matters deeply.
