App Limits with scheduled days + >time of day window<

Focus is great! But so is occasional distraction. I’ve learned that my adhd hyperfocus needs breaks. I love App Limits for this reason - there are some apps that I can open, during work hours, that won’t fully suck me in and closing them doesn’t hurt either. But, I like the limits, like open for 15 minutes, closed for 45.

But after work hours - I want that to end.

App Limits are based on time open, and day, but not time of day
Recurring blocks are full blocks based on day and time of day.

I’d like something in the middle, so I can be rewarded with little breaks that don’t count against streaks.

I agree! Opal should implement a feature that combines schedule and time limits. For example, during work hours I’d like to only be allowed to use an app for 15 minutes in an 1.5 hour window. But the window should reset every 1.5 hours and only apply during a set work schedule. The current time limit feature allows users to set a time limit that then blocks apps for 1.5 hours but the time limit ends up blocking apps even after non consecutive use and the limit would apply to the entire day and not a preset schedule
