Bugs that need fixing

I use Apple focus filters with Opal. When I turn on a focus mode, it should start blocking. However, when I turn it on, I have to manually go into the app and refresh the session for it to start blocking apps.

Also, I can’t seem to block individual apps because it says I have blocked too many apps or something, but for some reason when I select whole folders of apps to block e.g. Entertainment. that’s fine.

Hey there @Nafeez,

Happy to help! Your focus filters should be working as intended, but if not, please go to your Blocks tab and hit the “Reload Blocks” button near the top right corner!

Once that’s complete, please follow all the steps here:

If running through every single step listed above doesn’t do the trick and the next time you initiate a Focus Filter, it doesn’t automatically get initiated, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Otherwise, due to restrictions imposed by Apple, the maximum number of apps and/or websites you can block is 49 (except when blocking all apps/websites and/or certain categories). However, you are welcome to use our Allow List as a workaround:

All the best,
Team Opal.
