Give the ability to end a focus session in case of “emergency”. Allow user to have 2-3 contacts that can authorize breaking a focus session on their behalf, using a text message for approval.

Wow I was totally unaware of the once per week deep focus break! That’s good to know, thank you!
In “time-out” mode, select the number of pauses allowed in the session.
use case for me, to have a deep focus mode with the possibility of a single pause in case of emergency for my work (delete a story, a post etc…)
Having a way to end a focus session quickly, especially in emergencies, could really help.

Hello, it appears that I entered the time range incorrectly and I have a block active now but I need to work. The block is going for the next 20 hours. Thanks so much. There is no specific “force end” instruction in those linked articles, but do you mean the “emergency pass” option? If so, I unfortunately tried doing what is outlined:

But unfortunately when I click on FAQs, it won’t open. I have everything locked down on this active block so I can’t open FAQs. Is there another way to do this?

Yes, try emergency pass. I know you are frustrated. But that can only be done on your end.
The steps to access Emergency Pass do not work on my Mac, but the instructions say “If you’ve already used your Emergency Pass this week, our Support team is unable to force end a session for you. For that reason we recommend only using your Emergency Pass in a true emergency.”
I think this clearly means that, if you have NOT used the Emergency Pass, then the support team CAN force end a session. Emergency Pass is not working on my device so I have NOT used it. Can the support team PLEASE force end the session for me?
As I am not part of the support team. I can’t do much on my end. You would need to email the team to do that.
