FIXED | iOS18 Widget breaks when using screen tinting

Hello Opal team & community!

I’ve been loving the app and recently purchased the annual subscription. I wanted to raise an issue I have though.

I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 18, and my Home Screen theme has tinted apps and widgets (using the native Apple tint feature that comes with iOS18). However, the Opal widget does NOT appear when my Home Screen is tinted—it only works if I turn tint off.

I would really like a widget, but I’m not willing to give up my tint. I believe it’s an easy code fix on the backend, and I would really appreciate this being looked into.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! Our engineers are currently working on this bug, as we noticed it the same last week. We’ll let you know when a fix is implemented!

Happy to help! Our engineers have pushed a fix for this and you should be able to use our widget properly if you upgrade to the newest version here:
