Focus filter not always disabling with the focus mode

Hello!

I’ve been using Opal for a few months and also love focus modes. I didn’t realize until the past few days that you could have the two work together!

I’ve been noticing that the filters work when focus modes are turned on, but often don’t disable when a focus mode ends or is turned off. To work around this, you need to toggle that focus mode on and off, sometimes repeatedly, to enable the apps again.

Am I missing something that makes Opal focus filters reliable?

Device: iPhone 15 Pro Max/iOS 18

Thanks!

It’s a shame no one on the Opal team seems to be able to answer their community. Makes me think about using this app in the long term.
I’m having the same problem.

I have the same issue. Apps being blocked stay blocked after i switch focus modes and i have manually go into opal and reload blocks. I never had this issue on ios17 so I believe it’s something new.

I also wish we had a “reload blocks” shortcut so we could get around this issue for now
