Instructions for canceling the trial subscription do not work for the Mac app. I need to cancel my subscription because the app does not meet my needs. The problems I am having with canceling are a symptom of the other problems with the app. The instructions tell me to respond to an email from Stripe, but I have not received any emails from Stripe. Therefore, I cannot respond, and therefore, I cannot cancel. I will be very angry if Opal charges me for failing to cancel.
Hello, I also had the issue but I realized that the email sent by stripe was in my spam folder.
Also make sure to use the same email you entered when you signed up.
From there it’s very straightforward and the cancellation effective immediately.

To cancel your Mac app subscription, you’ll simply need to log into our Stripe portal for Mac app here:

If you’re unsure what email you’ve used to subscribe, please check your invoice. Please also note that if you signed up for a Stripe subscription using Apple’s “Hide my Email” option, you will need to provide your private relay email. To do so, head to your device Settings > Apple ID > Sign-In & Security > Apps Using Your Apple ID. You can find your private relay email that you’ve provided to Opal there. If you have any further issues, don’t hesitate to contact our Support team via the Mac app by clicking on the “Give Feedback” button in the left menu.

Thank you. That is exactly what I did to try to cancel my subscription. I entered the same email that Stripe used to inform me about the coming charge. I have not received an email from Stripe. I checked my junk folder, and the email from Stripe is not there either. I do not want to be charged for a subscription that I am trying to cancel.
