Intention timer in Dynamic Island

I can see that Opal already use the dynamic island timer if I use the block session intentionally but what if I can set the apps I want to completely keep blocked and whenever I’m trying to open the Opal ask me for the time I want the app to remain open and the dynamic island timer starts running and as soon as the timer ends, the app is blocked again. this way I’m kind of aware that how much I’m using that app for and I can finish whatever I’m doing by the time.

Current setup of time based blocking doesn’t have a timer running, which makes not knowing exactly how much time has already been passed and in the end, you always have a time when you want more time.

hey @Nil ,

Thanks for reaching out and for the thoughtful feedback on implementing an intention timer in app. I’ve passed this post along to our engineers and UI designers to consider as we continue to upgrade the app. I can’t promise that your suggestions will be implemented, but we welcome any feedback from our Gems and often integrate suggestions from our community. Stay tuned on that front.

Thanks again,
Team Opal
