Most of the time I just click leave early after the timer because I’d not be bothered to wait again next time I want to snooze. Making the app useless to me. If the wait to leave early was much longer, then I would use snooze every time.
Hello, I found out that there is a maybe glitch which can allow a user to overwrite the blocking time in a waiting room, because I use the middle blocking setting with increasing of time which blocks my apps. I use it mainly because of Netflix and I want to have no chance to skip the waiting room quickly vis apps like words or counts. I want to watch Netflix, and after 15 minutes, it kicks me off. So I go to Opal and wait 30 seconds, and after 15 minutes, I want Netflix to kick me off, so I have to go to Opal and wait for 50 seconds. After 50 seconds, I want to go to Netflix, watch 15 minutes, and go to Opal again and wait 60 seconds, and so on. The maximum si 120 seconds (it could be more!). But I found out that when I repeatedly click on "Nevermind” and “Breake” and nevermind and break and nevermind and break and so on…
It firstly changes every time the waiting time, so I can click until there is the smallest possible time. This makes me clicking! (not waiting), and I think it’s not a good idea in the app.
Secondly, maybe after 4-6 clicks like that, it moves me to the waiting room apps (for example, Words or Counts). And it is possible to complete that in about 10 seconds, and after it unlocks me Netflix again. I think this is not good for my focus. apps in a waiting room cannot be turned off hardly before the whole session starts.
I want to limit myself hard because when I am watching Netflix and want to prolong the time of watching, I do everything to lower the waiting time. If there is a chance to turn on the apps in the waiting room and lover the waiting time, I will do it, but it would be better to not have this chance to open and turn on the apps in a waiting room!
I’ve been using Opal for a long time, and this is the first time I’ve run into this. I can click through the waiting room for about 5–6 times (Nevermind+Breake). And i can very quickly Skip very big part of waiting time thanks to apps in the wainting room.
I used Opal in the evening for about six months, and it worked for me very well because when the waiting time increased, I’d start falling asleep during the waiting room and turn it off and go to sleep, which was my goal. But with this new finding in a waiting room that I can skip the time via apps in a waiting room, it ruins my sleep.
Please help me out and other people, and allow me to turn off apps in a waiting room in the settings of the whole time block. So, I cannot turn them on during the waiting time in a waiting room.
Thank you
