The mac app should have the ability to remove the app from the dock and only remain as a status bar menu. This keeps the dock cleaner since opal is often just working the background and removed the redundancy of having both.
Also if a Mac app functions as a status only app it will not appear in the “Force Quit” menu. Which will prevent the ability to get around “deep focus” blocks.

Absolutely agree with everything said in the above. This is the only thing stopping me from leaving focus OS for Opal premium.
Please can we have this feature.

Please make this happen. I force quit the Opal app on my Mac all the time, which renders the app useless. “Deep focus” doesn’t mean anything when you can just quit the entire app.

I didn’t even need to force quit. I just pressed CMD + Q and the app closed. I tried to reduplicate this multiple times and sometimes a pop-up appears saying I cannot close the app, but after several attempts I can always get it to close.
I want to purchase the subscription but cannot do so with this glitch because as others have said, it renders Hard Mode obsolete.
