YES please, even Opal for Chrome extension or something would be perfect

I’d love to see a Chrome and Microsoft Edge extension for Windows 11 that fully syncs with the Opal mobile app. It would be incredibly helpful if the extension could mirror all the app’s core features — such as blocking websites listed under “blocked apps,” syncing scheduled focus sessions, and enforcing Deep Focus Mode — directly on desktop. As a student who uses Windows for most of my schoolwork, having a cross-platform experience would make Opal even more powerful and essential for staying focused. This addition would greatly expand Opal’s impact beyond mobile and help users maintain digital wellness across all devices.

Is this feature never happening :smiling_face_with_tear: Opal was such a life changer through my phone screentime, but I am working on Windows and I would love not to use another company… especially as I am very happy to pay for Opal which I’ve never done for others !

Good news! While we don’t yet have an Opal for PC/Windows, we do now have finally have a version for Android! On that note, the beta version of Android is now available for testing. We are looking for a few hundred people who are willing to test the app, let us know where things aren’t working, and the like. If you want to download, please head here on your Android device:

If anything goes wrong, don’t hesitate to report it directly from inside the Android version of the app. To do so, just click on your Profile, then tap “Suggest improvements.” You will then be linked to our WhatsApp Android testing group. When you do report any issues, please include the following information:

  • What version of the app you are on
  • What OS your Android device is on
  • What specific Android device you are using
  • Any video of what you’re seeing
