Opal needs a kill switch for the entire private browsing

Opal needs a kill switch for the entire private browsing. No matter what I do, private browsing gets blocked during a session. Iā€™ve tried recreating groups etc to no avail. Adult is definitely not checked.

I use private browsing to manage multiple profiles as I have about 3 O365 tenants, or have to impersonate a user. Having this broken is such a killer for me and others Iā€™m sure.

Thanks for sharing - weā€™ll look into it.

Hello!

We have identified the issue, and it is on Appleā€™s side. We submitted a bug report for it in March, and we will inform you as soon as we receive a response from them.

We have also found a workaround. If you only select apps and not websites in your session blocking selection, the bug will not occur.

I hope this information is helpful!

This workaround appears to work, in that when I unblocked all websites my ā€œPrivateā€ browser tab (in Safari on iPhone) reappeared. But it really isnā€™t satisfactory: What good does it do me as a dopamine addict to (for example) block the YouTube app but not YouTube.com? Please advise whether you have heard from Apple. Iā€™m considering not renewing my Opal Pro subscription and this is a major factor in my decision.
