Screentime isn’t matched with Apple’s built in screen time. It becomes a problem because I don’t know how many hours I’ve actually used my phone, and if it’s less than stated on Opal, its more likely i’ll use my phone more. Please fix this!
I have not heard of anyone having such problems. Maybe try restarting the app and see if anything changes.
I’ve been using this app less than a week and I’ve already found it very helpful in how much less I’m using my phone!
However for the last three days, I noticed that I’d wake up around 9am and my screentime would indicate that I’d used around 2 hours already. Meaning I’d already used my phone for two hours before I’d even woken up that day.
At first I found this strange, but I assumed it must just be counting the time I used my phone before bed. So I didn’t think that much of it, and I didn’t look further into it.
Today however when I woke up, my screentime was already indicated at nearly three hours! This struck me, as I’d gone to bed at 1-1:30am, and I’d only been awake now for about ten minutes.
Something must be seriously wrong, so I checked the detailed analytics. It said I’d used my phone for around 40 minutes between 5 and 6am on apps like Instagram and Pinterest, which couldn’t be true since I was literally asleep. The only other thing it said was that I’d used my phone for around 15 minutes since I’d woken up, which is true enough, but obviously doesn’t add up to THREE HOURS.
I’m extremely confused and kind of disappointed at this discrepancy, and I’d really like to know why this is happening and how to fix this!

Happy to help and sorry for the troubles. To sort out any screen time display issues, please reset your connection to screen time using the instructions here:
Once that’s complete, please wait 24 hours to see if your screen time properly displays on your home tab. Please note, however, that resetting screen time will not change your time on previous days! If that doesn’t sort out the problem, please don’t hesitate to let our Support team know via our in-app Support centre, providing evidence (screenshots or videos) of exactly where things are going wrong so we can troubleshoot further.

Its been the same for me. After the Update with Leaderboard and streaks happened, my total focus time went from over 2.5k down to 900, and the focus time varies ever since then showing random numbers. Only answer: sorry we cant get you the focus hours back.
2 Months, 2 Support Tickets, no fix, no proper support only “we will forward it”…I have been an active hyper user since day one, recruited 5 people to join opal over the last 2 years, now this.
Its so disappointing to see such a lack of community care & support…I cancelled my membership now which will run out later this year i am genuinely crushed but what does the app help me when no focus time for any day is correct? It discourages completely when you used your phone for 1h and opal shows 4h on the main screen and 3.5 hours on the leaderboard…
