Survey for subscriptions - SOLVED - Opal offers both a free & subscription option

I did a survey to share that I don’t see any need in turning this app into a subscription based product. I can understand the incentive for a pro version but the survey that’s out sounds like they are sending out feelers to see if most people are willing to pay. what did the ceo of costco say? “if you raise the price of the effing hot dog i will kill you…” that is how i feel. i would have loved to share actual feedback rather than “how much are you willing to pay” Zero. This app should be free. I don’t care if I have to watch an ad before unblocking instagram. Just don’t make me pay A SUBSCRIPTION for an APP.

Thanks for your feedback on our survey! To clarify, Opal has always offered both a Pro subscription and a free version of the app, and we have no plans to change that. However, we’re attempting to collect more feedback about our existing pricing to ensure that we can better serve our growing international audience. That said, I’ve passed your message about the survey along to our engineers and UI designers to consider as we continue to upgrade the app. Stay tuned on that front.
